The ALL in One in Becoming a Mediator

  • Training: Complete a 40 Hour mediation training program that covers topics such as mediation theory, communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, ethics, and applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Learning: Online interactive and hands-on learning, covering mediation theory, communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, ethics, and legal considerations.
  • Experience: Gain practical experience in areas such as law, counseling, social work, or dispute resolution to enhance your skills as a mediator.
  • Ethical Standards: Adhere to ethical guidelines, which include maintaining confidentiality, impartiality, and neutrality throughout the mediation process.
  • Certification: Obtain a certification upon successful completion of the 40-hour training, demonstrating your commitment to professionalism and excellence in mediation. Obtain a certification upon succesful completion of the 30-hour training of Advanced Family Mediation, This training equips mediators to handle more complex disputes, work in specialized areas, and make a positive impact in resolving conflicts in a variety of contexts.
  • Continuing Education: Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay updated on the latest practices and techniques in the field.


  •  As of May 24, 2023, the average annual pay for a Mediator in Texas is $91,608 a year. Georgia is $84,244,  Washington $112,941, New York $105,541. These are just salaries based off data demographics. The Mediator can make a no limit salary based off their own Remote Mediation practice and expertise.
